StratNav is a dynamic, symbol-based simulation designed to sharpen decision-making, decentralised command, and team performance in any environment. StratNav (Strategic Navigation) is a portable, high-impact challenge that combines classic navigation, problem-solving, and strategic planning into an outdoor experience that goes beyond traditional orienteering or team-building. It is structured around real leadership roles, decentralised execution, and symbolic problem-solving—making it both scalable and deeply developmental.
STRATNAV OVERVIEW.
StratNav is a fast-paced, outdoor leadership simulation where participants take on strategic and operational roles to complete a high-pressure, mission-based challenge. Teams divide into a central HQ Team and mobile Operational Teams, working together to plan strategy, interpret clues, and reach revenue targets within a time limit.
The HQ Team sets objectives and trains the field teams, who then navigate to up to 20 grid points using maps, compasses, and radios. At each location, teams decode symbolic clues and capture Polaroid evidence of hidden leadership symbols— each tied to a monetary value with limited claims.
With radio-only communication and rising urgency, teams must think fast, communicate clearly, and adapt on the move. Results are measured through earnings, timing, and accuracy—delivering an immersive, real-world test of leadership under pressure.

Form the Command Team (HQ)
Your first mission? Choose key leadership roles—CEO, CFO, COO, CHRO, CTO. This team sets strategy, revenue targets, and trains the field teams.

Mobilise the Operational Units
Operational teams are formed and trained on map reading, compass use, and comms. They receive mission objectives and symbol-based navigation tasks.

Launch the Mission
HQ deploys teams into the field. Each group receives 20 grid references, a symbol guide, and tools to navigate and decode clues.

Identify & Capture Evidence
At each location, teams solve riddles, identify the correct symbol, and take a Polaroid photo as proof. Only 3 claims per symbol—move fast!

Stay Connected
All comms must go through HQ using radios only. HQ guides, tracks, and adjusts strategy on the fly.

Navigate Pressure Points
Symbols carry different values. Each decision—where to go, what to prioritise—impacts your earnings and final standing.

Return to Base & Report
Teams must return on time to avoid fines. Points are tallied, symbols verified, and lessons debriefed.

Debrief Team Performance
Performance is assessed by revenue earned, evidence captured, and team cohesion. Who led with clarity, who cracked under pressure— and what can your team learn?

EVENT FEATURES.
PLAN your mission strategically and adaptively. Participants form an HQ Team with senior roles including CEO, CFO, and COO. This team develops strategy, sets revenue targets, allocates resources, and briefs operational units on communication protocols, navigation, and decoding clues.
EXECUTE decisively under pressure. Operational Teams use maps, compasses, radios, and Polaroid cameras to navigate 20 grid points. They decode symbolic riddles, locate hidden symbols, and capture photographic proof—while maintaining disciplined radio contact with HQ.
LEAD with confidence and evidence. Each symbol carries a cash value from £50,000 to £1 million, with only three claims allowed per location. Urgency, penalties, and limited opportunities drive strategic choices. Teams regroup to validate photos and tally earnings, delivering objective, reviewable results.
